Jigsaw Sudoku in Flower Sudoku format (5 in 1 Gattai-5)

This should be a tough one – perhaps too tough? It’s only rated “BRAIN”, but the layout makes it quite difficult, I think. 5 overlapping Jigsaw Sudoku puzzles put together in the Flower Sudoku (Gattai-5) layout, which is similar to Samurai Sudoku but not exactly the same. Make sure to use the “Twin Nonets” solving technique, otherwise you won’t get too far.

just started this one and wonder… does the rule of nonets apply here? e.g. is it possible to have to identical numbers in a 3×3 matrix or not? (as the grey colouring is missing, I’m unsure what applies…) thanks, and thanks again for all the nice puzzles!

The rule of jigsaw nonets does apply. There are no 3×3 nonets.

Wow, your puzzles are awesome. I love all the variations, and the way each one requires changes in strategy. I screwed up somewhere on this one the first time, but I’m trying it again. Trying to keep track of all the parallel 3-square sections while they cross jigsaw nonets is mind-stretching, at least for me. Thank you!

Ok. I tried solving this one and it only gave me a headache. And I’m not even halfway done (or even a quarter-way, if there is such a word)!

Mind if I save this one on my hard drive and print it out? I’m going to solve this even if takes all night!

ARGH! It’s just too hard! I can’t finish this one no matter how hard I try!

Nonetheless, your puzzles are great! It may look simple but it really isn’t.
