Here is my second Slitherlink puzzle. My solver thinks it’s rather difficult. What do you think? You can read The rules of Slitherlink (Takegaki, loop-the-loop, loopies…). Slitherlink 11×11 for Monday, March 4, 2010. Difficulty: INSANE?

I am not very good at these things. I would say moderately difficult, but mot insane. More IQ sort of level. For me that is.

Here is another possible solution for the same puzzle:

Pat7, you were close. Your solution is invalid.

Look at the three 2s next to each other in the middle of the puzzle. Your middle 2 has 3 lines around it, which renders the solution you provided invalid.

    Thanks for your comment anyway!

Oops! Thanks for your correction. 😛

You are welcome! 🙂 All comments are always appreciated. “Corrections” like the one you made help me verify my methods for generating puzzles.

I enjoyed the puzzle (11 x 11 4 March 2010) but think your solver is wrong. A bit hard but not insanely difficult. I found it whilst looking for takegaki logic rules.
