It’s been a while! 🙂 For various reasons I haven’t made any posts in the last few months but that’s about to change.
Thanks to
Princess Amy, I’m presenting you a very special Sudoku puzzle. It consists of 1 Killer, 1 Odd/Even, 1 <>, 1 Consecutive and 1 Butterfly Sudoku puzzle, arranged Samurai Sudoku-style. Make sure you are familiar with the rules of all of these varieties before you give this one a go!

I’m stuck on this one. I think I may have made an error, but if so it’s the first non-obvious error I’ve made. Everything in every puzzle seems to work, but I can’t place some 1’s, 2’s, and 5’s in the middle set of squares in the Killer section.
There is one other indication that something might be wrong on my end – in row 9 of the central puzzle, I have an adjacent 6 and 7 in columns 3 and 4, but there’s no adjacency bar between them. Can anyone confirm whether I’ve screwed up, or whether the adjacency bar was perhaps mistakenly omitted?
Thanks to Djape and Princess Amy for making a really beautiful and fun puzzle.
Looks delightful.
Please tell me I’m not the only person who likes to check their work regularly against a solution to find any errors before the puzzle is too far along to save.
I ask because they’re no solution up. Is that intentional?
Steve, check out the forum:

I didn’t give DJ Ape the solution. I imagine he was able to solve it, or he wouldn’t have posted?
Yes!!! there should be bar between the 6 & 7. I decided to add the ones clues that connect the individual puzzles to the central puzzle at the last minute, and it was omitted.
I’m not sure what’s in the forums, I’ve lost my password and can’t post, but I can try reading it.
SPOILER: don’t read on unless you want to see the very central square: 154279836 Does that help?

Steve is right about the 1´s, 2´s and 5´s in the middle set of squares in the Killer section. I have checked the killer with the perfect sudoku v 4.0 and there are three different solutions, so it´s not a perfect one.
Anyway, Ihave enjoyed a lot solving this one. Thanks a lot for Amy Grace. ¡Nice job!
Sorry about my english. I come from Spain.
The Killer by itself does have multiple solutions, but if you combine it with the (non-)consecutive lower left section the whole grid has a unique solution. Like I said in the forum, pay attention on the (non-)consecutiveness over the border of the 2 sections.
The only blemish for the puzzle is that r9c34 of the central section should have a bar between them because they must be consecutive… I might try to fix up the pic myself and post it, that is if djape or Amy doesn’t want to do it themselves…
I’ve corrected the pic. Here is the link:

If you follow all the constraints on the puzzle, they should lead you to a unique solution.
I keep coming back week after week. Are there any new puzzles?? This one was soooo much fun!!
Whoever did this is a great person!!!!!!
Horrible! not what I was looking for
