**Kendoku Rules:**Solve the puzzle so that every row and every column contain all numbers from 1-9. Therefore,

**numbers cannot be repeated in a row or in a column**. Further, numbers in each region (cage) surrounded by thick lines must result in the number indicated for that cage by using the arithmetic operation shown for that cage. To be more specific:

**numbers CAN BE repeated in any cage**

This is an interesting innovation. I suspect the difficulty level might escalate rapidly as you develop the idea. I was grateful, for example, that there were only two overlapping puzzles, and that there were no small numbers for a cage without any indicated arithmetic operator.
