My puzzles in Washington DC and New York City

This is just a reminder that tomorrow, on Sunday, February 28, 2010, my Samurai Sudoku puzzles will restart in the Comics section of The Washington Post. Also, I am pleased to announce that I’ve made a deal with Kinokuniya bookstore from New York City. They will offer for sale all of my books, all 28 of them! So, if you are strolling down Manhattan, go to 1073 Avenue of the Americas and at least have a look at the hard copies of my books. I bet you’ll like them! Please let me know what you think of them and even more importantly, how they are presented in the Kinokuniya bookstore.

Will that include the Kinokuniya in San Francisco?

Tyler, not for the time being. But it might happen in the future. Perhaps it could help if you went there and talked to them asking them about my books. 🙂

Washington Post Samurai 7/25/10: The upper right, lower right, lower left, and center puzzles pretty much fell into place. The upper left was a different story. I tried everything up thru X-wing with no luck. Then I tried the technique of color True-False on the 3s and everything popped out. Was it really necessary to use this more advanced technique or did I miss something along the way?

By the way, I tried the links to Forum and keep getting a Page Not Found error. Is the Forum still there?

Ellsworth, no, no expert solving techniques are necessary for my Samurai Sudoko from The Post. You must have missed some easy way in. It doesn’t really matter as long as you eventually solved it, does it? 🙂

To answer your other question: no, unfortunately the forum hasn’t been very active lately and also it was hacked, so I decided to remove it. At least for the time being. Sorry.
