Where are the daily puzzles gone?
Dear all,
First I must apologize for keeping you in the dark regarding what’s going on with the daily puzzles. The truth is that I’ve been working hard on my PhD thesis and just had no time to update the daily and weekly puzzles pages.
Now… the daily Killer Sudoku, the daily Sudoku variants and the bi-weekly Samurai Sudoku pages will undergo some changes in 2014. For a while I will not post daily puzzles there. Instead, many puzzles will be posted here, on the main page of the site. We will see how it goes. If, say, in 3 or 6 months I see that this is not working for you and me, I will go back to how it’s been until now.
There is no fixed schedule on which puzzles will be posted and how often. I can promise that it will be at least 2 times a week, focusing on Killer Sudoku and variants thereof, Samurai Sudoku and variants thereof and Jigsaw Sudoku and variants thereof. Still, many new and different kinds of all sorts of puzzles will be posted, too.
I’m sorry if this makes some of you unhappy. I am always listening to your feedback and depending on what I hear from you, I might or might not go back to 2 to 3 puzzles every day.

Any chance of publishing a book of greater than puzzles?
There is already a book of Futoshiki puzzles, which are essentially the same as Greater Less Sudoku.

As the other guy said my Sunday’s will not be the same without your Zero killers as it was in the last 7 years. I also bougt your Zero killer book and wait for the next book.

Good luck on your thesis. Given your background of puzzle creation, I think many of us would like to know the topic.
My wife and I look forward to Tuesdays and Saturdays and really enjoy the Thinker/Brain/IQ versions of Samurai Sudoku. So we were surprised when Saturdays puzzle wasn’t there today. Looking around your website, I saw the reason why. Do hope you will have some schedule for when you will have the Samurai’s posted. We’ve tried many of the variants, but enjoy the variants based on the Samurai shapes.
