Killer Sudoku fans – a new Facebook group

Well, I bet most of you are using Facebook, so I thought it would be a good idea to create a group there for fans of Killer Sudoku and related puzzles. I’m not sure yet what it will be used for (perhaps a facebook game some day?), but feel free to join and suggest things […]

Kakuro

Nearly two years after I posted my first Killer Sudoku puzzle, I’d like to present you with it’s sibbling, my first ever Kakuro! For whatever the reason, I haven’t shown interest in these puzzles until recently. I thought I’d give them a go and here is the result. To be honest, knowing a thing or […]

Computer-generated Hanjie puzzle

I have just implemented a random Hanjie puzzle generator. It generates valid Hanjie (griddlers, pic-a-pix) puzzles but with random patterns – there is no pretty picture in the end! Well, folks, it’s been more than one year since I started posting puzzles on this website and I’d like to write a few words about that. Actually, since this site has become popular thanks to Killer Sudoku puzzles I intended to wait until the anniversary of the first Killer Sudoku puzzle posted here, but CathyW […]

More Perfect Sudoku in Switzerland!

I am very pleased to make these two announcements – both are related to publications in Switzerland only: 1. A book by Thierry Godel (published by Favre) has come out. It is called “L’essentiel du Sudoku” and it contains various Sudoku puzzles created, naturally, by Perfect Sudoku. Thierry is THE Sudoku man in Switzerland. I […]

Sound Charades

A new brain teaser posted by Count Duko in the forum. Feel free to participate in solving this one by following this thread. Sound Charades is a game played on BBC Radio 4’s “I’m Sorry I haven’t a clue” in which the panelists perform “mimes” in the form of a verbal sketch which describes a […]
